Cardio Workouts at Home

Whenever people think about cardio workouts they should do at home they usually link to exercise bikes, a treadmill or jogging. The truth is that there are many possibilities that you might have not thought about in the past. Let us talk about them and understand how you can have good cardio workouts in the comfort of your own home.


Calisthenics are made out of fast calisthenics exercises or body strength exercises based on your own weight. The good part of doing calisthenics at home is that you do not need equipment in order to obtain that great workout you are looking for. To make everything better, you will get a better workout if you combine these types of calisthenics when combined with regular exercising on a bicycle. You can thus improve the performance and strength of every muscle in your body. All calisthenic exercises will require you to use entire body movements. This increases lung and heart power.

Cardio Workout At Home Program

There are many possibilities when thinking about combining regular cardio exercises and calisthenics. You can add strength exercises and we can say that it all boils down to your time, determination and what exactly you want to achieve. For instance, let us say you will do squats, crunches, push ups and jumping jacks. Let us think about the proper way to combine these exercises.

I recommend that you do 10 repetitions for every bodyweight exercise in one circuit, all without resting. After this do jumping jacks for 30 seconds. We thus gain a big circuit that you should do for 10 minutes. After all is over you will see that you just did a very simple and quick workout that had a full body impact and also a great cardio workout effect. I do think that you will agree that it is also better than doing any aerobic exercise for X number of minutes on any machine out there. The good news is that you have hundreds of possibilities when thinking about what body weight calisthenics you should use. This is how you will always have a good cardio workout at home, without getting bored.
